POTUS 2048

A 2048 puzzle tile sliding game based on the Presidents of the United States

POTUS 2048 is a variation of the popular 2048 style tile game, using images of all the U.S. Presidents for the tiles and extending the rules for a more challenging and exciting 2048 experience! The game is educational; you can tap on president tiles to see fun and interesting facts about each president, creating a fun brain teasing puzzle with interesting historical facts, and learning each president of the United States, in order, from George Washington, POTUS #1, through all historical eras, to the modern presidents of our day.

Are you ready for the fun of the classic 2048 puzzle game with the added excitement and strategy of earning constitutional checks on executive power and using them to remove presidents and even switch president positions on the game board? Are you ready to advance through 17 levels of U.S. historical eras, advance through all U.S. presidents and win the Game? Are you ready to play three levels of 2048 and one level of 4096 to win and reach the end of the game?

How do you play POTUS 2048? You swipe the screen up, down, left and right on a 4x4 game board to combine president tiles of the same kind. When two presidents of the same kind touch and combine they spawn the next higher president in their place. After each move a new president tile randomly appears on an empty spot on the board. Keep sliding presidents to combine them into higher and higher value presidents, until you combine the two highest value presidents for the level and advance to the next level. You can earn Constitutional checks on Executive power by combining three or more of the same presidents in a row. Use these powers to cheat the game. You can use Congressional Committees to strike and remove a president directly. You can use Executive Orders to swipe an entire row or column of presidents and remove them all. You can use Judicial Review to switch the position of two presidents on the board and create more and better moves in the game.

There are 17 levels of U.S. historical eras. Advance through the historical eras to higher value presidents, earning awards along the way, and building a higher and higher score, possible surpassing the highest score. As you advance from one level to the next you gain more bonus powers and even chances to use the National Treasure. Use these National Treasure chances to get more powers and perhaps, if you are lucky, win the Louisiana Purchase that increases the game board size to 5x5 or even bigger.

You can choose from two levels of difficulty, easier and harder; easier gives you awards for combining three or more tiles in a row, while harder gives fewer awards for cheating the game. When playing harder you only get awards for four or more tiles in a row which creates a significantly more difficult game experience. In fact, I would bet, you cannot complete all levels of POTUS 2048 on the harder difficulty level and win the game. Prove me wrong!
